GossamerA Poem by Butch Decatoriato be un-noticed, passed by for something not worth looking - like a rock, or tree, an everyday occurance nothing important (really)...
i do not mind, let me be (just because) i do not need the acceptance of a horde of liars facade of concerns - a forced smile or a frown when i am down
there is no one who will remember me anyhow anywhere anytime when my guts are spilled upon the ground in front of you, now
when the truth is out
and the only person i wish to see me, is the mists of midnight's longing and the fertility of stars as the hours turn my eyes inward
my lovely mistake even the ones you make i wish you would see
will you? want to?
complete the cycle the pain of bites from your mouth relieves me with a kiss in an aftermath of trident tears in the deep
of this life with you who does not wish to see me even when i am robed in nothing's beauty
even when i'm buried
will you? want to? live the truth and burn
what am i to an emperor who dresses his sons in gossamer? © 2008 Butch DecatoriaReviews
