Hungry

Hungry

A Poem by Butch Decatoria

How can I perfect our exchange

words, hands, hips,

noxious need...

Can't escape your food

the whitecap rippled ways

it spoons me

at night in dreams,

in soft, careful showers

with my determination

and just an inflamed image,

your lovely jacinth body

joust hard

in lawless bedsheets...

How can I stay

lies, sex, diplomacy ?

fevered story - you're set to leave

tethered to airplane

with California wings...

I remind you : can't escape your food

the lurid, lurking ways

it shapes me

makes me

crave your lick.

Steamed locomotion...

The incomparable wickedness

you throw me...

But then again,

I

don't wanna be the ball

in a game

bounced against the wall

and back again;

you

have your credence,

crusade or crush,

distance don't mind me

I'll just go hungry.

It's not enough...
