Like Atlantis (edit)A Poem by Butch DecatoriaRetitled from "Love & Atlantis" comparative poem and why good things end or get destroyed.depress me sunlight when i am feeling clouds angry to throw lightning my pulse a thunder-head, earthquake within my heart's cage;
the world torn apart by hurricanes dizzying, spinning no news is good news when love is wuthering in heights and lost
like Atlantis my soul's fury : the volcano melting away history's belief (in forever) for the story is a ghost triangular dreams with legend
of what I thought was real - the corporreal and tangible, like holding his hand, kissing his lips of cream...
sewing forever's possiblity in the seams...
so forget me moonlight Love's Atlantis is the cry in your beams, sorrow has lost it's fight goodnight... hope... unweened... © 2008 Butch DecatoriaAuthor's Note
