Fog . Recovery . Dementia . (Cinquains)

Fog . Recovery . Dementia . (Cinquains)

A Poem by Butch Decatoria
"

3 Cinquains... or at least attempts at it.

"

Fog

Creep in

deceptively

a cat-burglar's cloak

silencing life, blinding all streets

in sleep.

Recovery

Disdained

angry urges

the body wants to rest

while emotions and mind's plan hatch

coupe flown.

Dementia

whispers

don't encourage

but weaves dark thoughts fondly

what helps to understand wonder

unraveled.
