IMAGINAL CELLS / DANAINAE (Senryu)

IMAGINAL CELLS / DANAINAE (Senryu)

A Poem by Butch Decatoria

1.
Monarch lacks her crown
awhile a worm's ugly state,
true beauty (is) within.

2.
Come chrysalis sleep
finest dreams take silken wings
at the time of death.

3.
Imagine rebirth
like feathers upon the wind,
heart is the queen's gold.
