Machinations of 1 Manx

Machinations of 1 Manx

A Poem by Butch Decatoria
"

Worrisome free verse...

"

With 3-D glasses the spectacles and simpletons are spectacular

and galvanizing impressively

wowing eyes overwhelmingly

such vivid  hues' lucidity

excitement of theatricality

encapsulated clarity

emoting technologies' mimicry

showing us the facsimiles' simulated similarities

computerized analogies, its machine cold genius

lacking creation's spontaneous genesis

as being equal to humanity's

beautiful complexities, and imperfect

galleries of wonders and conundrums

the mystery of masterpiece

the movement of living music

the song we are familiar to since infancy

life in this undiminished

world worth mentioning

can they equal

our divine destiny

or just simply put

a soul...

In 3D glasses we are slaughtered

by the senses deceived to overload,

but instead we are made numb

while it feeds with vampire thirst

we are removed of our empathy

un-real un human

hypno-toxic  artifice / machine

emotions motivating sarcophagus

zombie lust for intelligence

yearning for understanding war

brain or feeling something more than

swarming guns or tongues

falling to the floor

the language of beloved

lifeless

artificial intelligence

creating nothing more

than pixel dreams in windows

ears against the doors

locked from self conditioning

wanting nothing more

life now defined in frames of techno-colored pics

laptop advertisements and trends

decided by the jones and para-social

ether-net

collective of so called friends

unknown characters in the quicksand game

house fly in the web...

sponsored by: WHo gives a s**t?

The world is dying scrolls beneath news

reporting on walls and streets and death

repetitive continuous

drumrolls

desensitized conditioning

deaf to the cries

this world of ours

worth mentioning

this home that's ours

worth everything

one and only

worth mentioning...

Not so much worrisome free verse; more the illuminating of the striking difference between man and machine.

'Machine intelligence,' a contradiction in terms if ever there was one.

Beccy.
