A PIECE OF A DREAM-ME

My head on heavenly pillows

Our home so warm like fresh-cooked jasmine rice

smelling of roses and cinders

with a subtle hint of tigerbalm

A golden lamplight ambiance

when the summer sky is star-filled crisp nautical

breezy twilight skyline

outside on the patio / a city 'scapes

My head on heavenly pillows

since now within me

Our home

rice.

Oh wow, I could smell the home cooked, warm jasmine rice all the way here. You must realise that being a cancerian, this homely poem becomes all the more special for me. Where your heart is, there your home shall be too... I don't know who said that, perhaps I am just twisting the famous "Home is where the heart is"... but that quote goes well with it..

This poem blends together the earthiness and the comfort and security of home...you can trust a cancerian on the subject!! ;))

Cancerian as in the astrological sign of the crab? That's cool, I'm a Leo, ruled by the Sun and Jupiter, born on the day of the Velvet Voice (Aug. 10). Cancers are very attuned to their emotions or the metaphorical ocean that the mystic and heart swims in, I'm more of a fire sign but have seen the clear glass eye, enlightened and have been open to every kind. Guess love does that also, open minds and bigger hearts make for poetry (magic life). Thank you for your review.

Yep, cancerian the core(July 7)... Not really sure about the attuned to emotions one. If anything, we are perhaps the farthest away from that. I've always been good with leos though, nevermind what astrology teaches us..
