Of Winter / Dusk / Dawn

Of Winter / Dusk / Dawn

A Poem by Butch Decatoria

Of Winter
Wonderlands in quilts
sewn in frost'd metonymy
war or love will melt.

Dusk
Between moonbeam dreams
and light to open the day
all shadows writhe blue DAWN So still the speed of light as everything wakes with you Life still and will rise.

Thank you Ana for your kind review.
Being my favourite season and favourite time of the day, I was hooked to this piece right away...I'm always eager to read the interpretations of different poets on both states, and you've articulated them beautifully and uniquely...it takes a lot of skill to write in this form (I know cuz I struggle with it haha) and you've got it for sure...nicely done my friend.

Thank you for your kind review.
winter and dust work better for me, resting in the luxury of the sunset and palms
