Stained Glass / Window

A Poem by Butch Decatoria

STAINED GLASS

Shattered pieces shaped
The cathedral of your soul
Stained light still shines true.

WINDOW

Take a peek inside
What lives within keep it warm
Make yourself at home.

They were both lovely senryu but this one is a cut above … if you will excuse the pun. A lot of wisdom and solace in these three short lines.

I like the tone of the poem. A sense of calm and a offer of a warm place to rest. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
