La'ho (OBLIVION)

La'ho (OBLIVION)

A Poem by Butch Decatoria

Dot Dot Dot (pause) . . .

The hue  after
fireworks paints flash and flame
skin, a burnt blunder

charred
as bubbles boils
blackened sheaf to what's within
(who is IT ?)

The color of scarred-for-life
as though paintbrush-acid
art of accidental atrophy / mangled shadow
phantom of operas' mask & woe
hermit now
with dark compositions
orchestras of lows . . .
void in it's sorrow
emotional ocean trench
how the lonely howl . . .

storms and typhoon tears
grey
Ugly
to be  /  never again
seen
shade of never / existing

The color of never being
seen
La'ho . . .
(Dot dot dot)

A rainbow
that's never been nor seen . . .

. . . Such is Oblivion.

I've never tried to imagine 'A rainbow that's never been' until now....

Thank you for opening my mind...
