Tripped and Fell

Tripped and Fell

A Poem by Jack Cassidy
"

Just as advertised...

"
I tripped and fell and there I lay.
A belly shaking with laughter and unrivaled.
The jubilant recesses within the inside of my girth.
It's easy to ascend to joyful states,
when tough living has manifested a multitude of diamonds to pawn off.
That I may rent just a few more days of sunshine and toppling wind gusts.
More wildness,
less formalities,
I'm not that kind of creature.
I've gotten over myself years ago,
all that's pertinent is space and the willingness to be something.

This is an awesome poem...and it says great thing about your character. So many people need to just get over themselves and I think they should all read this poem. Life is to short sometimes we should all just stop and enjoy and you poem conveys this perfectly. Great Write.

I tripped and fell and there I lay...

And I thought how tragic, but no f'n way.
You're on the ground busting a gut.

Do you know how awesome that is.!

Once, I was dressed up all nice for a night out and I was running in my high heels and fell, total yard sale.
Everything everywhere.

And it was so fricking funny, I cracked up, seriously cracked up.
I'm sure ppl thought I was high...

Which I wasn't.

Cheers to less formalities...
