The Sattvic IdealA Poem by Jack CassidyJust an experience...
I now ease gently into the mornings,
no longer fighting blood shot eyes, and that painful nudge of old age. Awakened with a kinder heart and peaceful mind, all I notice is the alluring beauty, wrapped in a shiny bow. The sun's rays hold me in its light, warming my body to the core, removing the cold frost of inaction. My gaze into another's eyes is more attentive, the lag of a bored spectator has vanished, leaving only the chirping of wit and humor. On this day, the spirit seeks a deeper revelation, one where the thoughts are politely shared, and entrusted with promises of a future.
