The Dragon InsideA Poem by Jack CassidyStrong willed...
Using smoke and fire,
it fools the liar, transcends a desire. Great pleasure through pain, and tears down the vain, calls us by true name. Carving up your bones, with claws tough as stones, all the while it groans. With skin like a shield, piercing eyes revealed, simple truths concealed. No hope for a slave, and will burn your grave, so that peace can save. © 2013 Jack Cassidy |
