Dance of Color

Dance of Color

A Poem by Jack Cassidy
"

A youthful insight...

"
Sway with the sounds,
watch the color slide down my face.

In the middle of daylight,
I saw our youths dancing.

Their eyes jumping with delight,
each heart so wild and weightless.

When did we own our soul?
What made us old and lost?

Grateful to have slept and danced.
I wonder shall I ever again?

The woeful man smiles.
