When you say you love me

My world turns downside-up

And I can walk on the ceiling

Everything disappears

And nothing can be seen for miles

I enter a void of silence

Filled only with the pacing of our hearts

I can taste your lips upon mine

And not a single breath can be drawn

To sate the hunger of my deprived lungs

There is not an argument to be heard

Not a single tear to be traced

Past iniquities are long forgotten

I lose my sense of self

I begin to dream the impossible
