I wrote this for my niece. She was pregnant at the time

Angel of mine

　

Here I sit a mommy to be.

Thinking of you growing inside of me.

Over whelmed by what I feel.

A love that's forever, a love that is real.

Never knowing love could be this devine.

Until there was you...

Angel of mine.

　

Will I be a good mom? This I don't know.

I will do my very best. I'll forever love you so.

You already fill my heart with such joy.

I can't wait to hold you, my precious baby boy.

I never knew where life was going, kept searching for a sign.

Then there was you...

Angel of mine.

　

No matter what life holds, how the roads may turn.

Theres always a lesson waiting to be learned.

Looking for happiness in all the wrong places.

Looking for love at all the wrong faces.

Yet you need not to worry, no need to fear.

The love that you need is already here.

So I await your arrival, the day our hearts will intwine.

This poem is wonderful! Its exactly how i imagine all new mothers would feel about having a wonderful bundle of joy... I love babies and children so i can imagine feeling that way in the future... Great write!
