Grip

Grip

A Poem by Trevor McLeod
"

impressions

"
I hate him
He angers me
I wish he'd die as quick

My feelings
he's angered
are just as real as wit

I know him
He's someone
Someone else I'd quip

He's horrible
He's always
someone else I'd flip

I'll never
No-never
see him as I rip

No never
I'll never
forgive what I can't grip

Good write Trevor. There have been times I have met someone that has riled up these types of emotions on a first impression. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt and a second chance. Though some never take advantage of that opportunity to be better. Thank you for sharing this poem.

I like that you said that Carlos. You make people realize that their own fears are controlling them.. read more
