The Barfing Poem
A Poem by Trevor McLeod
Art from food
To see the glowing bowl below
the cooler trough of life.
Where thoughts that flow get flushed to go
on paper marked with strife.
That everywhere a note must flow
the poets flush for life.
As every thought of barf going out
are words he ate by knife.

There is art in everything. I have seen art in food. Years ago I can remember a book called Rude Food. Your toilet metaphor here is so funny. This poem is far too good to be flushed away without leaving a comment. I like humour in poetry.
