Pumpkin pies and Lullabyes,

A childhood dream to me....

And then the world makes you grow

into what you seem to be.

Peter Pan and Winnie too

made your world go round

But soon the cares and clothes you wear

and bills were what you found.

Bye and bye the years go past

quite never what they seem

Your world has come to be a place

of re-runs that you've seen.

As for me I write the words

that make the people sigh...

I paint the world with colors of

a different realm and time.

Pumpkin Pies and Lullabyes

a childhood dream to me....

And even in this world we know

It's who you've come to be.
