"The Eyes of Faith"

The eyes of faith

 

Through these eyes I see the world as it truly ought to be

A world where all the people live

in truth and harmony.

 

Through these ears I hear the cry that comes from those in pain

Like the whimper of a puppy,

left out in the rain.

 

Through these hands I feel the evil that blinds the minds of men

Only when their eyes have opened

will they find their lives again.

 

And through these feet I feel the path I know that I must walk

A way of righteous living,

 cause talk is only talk.

 

So in closing, this I’ll say to make this truth be known

It’s through the eyes of faith my friend

that all good things are sown.
