"Silence"

"Silence"

A Poem by Night

She whispers not a word

this sometimes friend of mine.

She comforts me on darkest days

and soothes this troubled mind.

She brings me back and helps me see

the folly of my ways.

I know one day she'll claim my soul

at the end of days.

So until that day should come

She's welcome by my side.

She'll always be a part of me

this sometimes friend of mine.
