The Colors of the Veil

The Colors of the Veil

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

The Colors of the Veil

A new way

To seek His face,

An open dialogue

With Heaven’s Host.

The veil torn,
Once adorned

The holy of holies

Forever released.

The veil of blue hem,

The color of the heavenly realm.

Access granted for all time,

Forever in His sight.

The veil of purple sewn,

The color royalty in majestic tone.

For royal is the Lord,

The living Word.

The veil of white,

The color of purity in His sight.

His pure love reaching us,

Hearts joyous.

The veil of red divine,
The color of His grand sacrifice.

Finely twined… the highest price:

Jesus Christ.

God’s perfect plan

Among the sons of man.

Made as a sign of His will,

The colors of the veil.

God’s perfect plan

Made as a sign of His will,
The colors of the veil.

LOVE this part, this is so true.

I have never heard of this coloured veil, before. Each verse is clear in meaning, apart from this mysterious veil of colours; which the writer has blinded me with.! It's a blindfold, and serves no purpose - grrr!

Remove this multicoloured veil, please; because it's obscuring my view..!
