Ornaments of Grace

Ornaments of Grace

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Ornaments of Grace

The tree of life

Grows exuberantly day by day.

Among family,

Important to be named.

Gathered unto Him,

Solid roots held firmly into place.

Decorated in promise,

Ornaments of grace.

Used by the living God

To show His favor in many ways.

turning curses into blessings,

Healing from pain.

Outcasts given a chance

To grow into something great.

Used for good

In spite of mistakes.

O how I love

Being an example of someone saved.

For I was lost"

A sinner wasting away.

Now, I am found

To lift high my hands in praise,

Joining the family tree as

Ornaments of grace.

Thank you for reading and leaving your appreciated review.
What, another read request! For me? What a mighty big tree you have.!

This brief poem, links tree growth, with both spiritual and family Christian spirituality; and more.!

You express your thanks, to Him; as well. For being saved. At the very end, the family tree which you have in mind; is God's family of the faithful..?

Thanks for sharing, lady; and keep firing up those "read requests"..!
