The Fisherman's BountyA Poem by Melinda McQueenThe Fisherman’s Bounty
Casting
the net, Happy
was he
Taking
them home, Then,
throwing a party,
Many
dined and rejoiced Dancing
and singing
The
fisherman later Yet
the story still resonated
The man slept soundly, Knowing that someday he’ll be invited
to dine with the King,
The
next morning Allowing
God to use him
The fisherman’s bounty would soon Rejoice in the Presence of the Lord of all. Dancing
and singing
