Catcher of Tears

Catcher of Tears

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Catcher of Tears

Tears flood the pillow.

She cries out,

Her sobs are not loud.

Keeping quiet, her voice low,

 "Is anyone there?

Does anyone care?"

To believe in God, does she dare?

More tears flow.

She soon hears

The still, small voice.

“I’m here with you,

And I’m catching your tears

I gave My life by My choice,

For My love is true.”
