Eternal Friend

Eternal Friend

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Eternal Friend

I need a friend

Who sticks by my side.

A confidant with no end,

To share this life.

An anchor to steady me,

And make it worth living.

A way to believe

In hearts giving.

A warm embrace

Amid strife and hurt.

I close my eyes

And know my worth.

For in Him I’ll rise

Because of Jesus Christ.

Your faith shines through Melinda, of that there is no doubt. Nicely worded verses. Hope all is good with you.
