You're Still Here

You're Still Here

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

You’re Still here

You’re here

Through the waiting.

You’re here

When I’m praying.

You’re here

When everything goes wrong.

You’re here

Even when doubts hold on.

You’re here

When overwhelming chaos erupts.

You’re here

When none else I can trust.

You’re here

In times I cannot see.

You’re here

Holding onto me.

You’re here

When no one else believes.

You’re here

When I pray for them urgently.

You’re here

Though they cannot feel You.

You’re still here

Steady in You’re truth.
