In His Hands

In His Hands

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

In His Hands

The sea knows its boundary,
as the land it meets.

Stars lend their shine
for all of time.

Caterpillars turn into butterflies
once grounded, they sour heights.

Birds instinctively build nests
where they nurture their young from eggs.

They soon become one with the sky,
upon cradling winds they fly.

The colors of a sunset testify
to the beauty of creation far and wide.

So much points to the Creator,
and it’s only a glimpse of what’s later!

How can one not believe
that God created all of these?

His bow of promise still stretches out,
a covenant still speaking loudly now.

He’s not far off, but all around,
here to be found.

Babies grow in mothers’ wombs,
just as they’re designed to do.

When touching a newborn babe’s cheek,
instinctively, a tiny mouth opens to feed.

He made a way for everything,
and to Him do birds sing.

He did it all,
including answering the call.

Not only did He create the world,
but He’s shaping us as a pearl.

With the breath in our lungs,
let’s praise the Son.

Like the birds and trees
that praise Him without cease.

How can one not believe
that God created all of these?

When you lose hope,
and know not where to go…
turn to Jesus
and watch as your doubt releases.

For His love for you stands,
so, place your life in His hands.

Dear Melinda, when we learn. We don't walk alone. We gain wisdom.
"and watch as your doubt releases.
For His love for you stands,
so, place your life in His hands."
I did like the above lines. Thank you dear poet for sharing the amazing poetry.
