Joy Enternal

Joy Enternal

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Joy Eternal

It never leaves me,

It is forever constant indeed.

It breathes its own,

It ever unfolds.

No matter the season I’m in,

It lives in me, having no end.

As a sacred promise, it dwells;

Joy eternal, ever well.

Though trials come,

And hard days, a great sum…

Still, my soul is filled with joy unshakable,

For it’s from God, unbreakable.

Life is hard!

Breaking the heart.

Still, it’s a bubbling spring,

Joy eternal, my Savior brings.

So, let me lift my heart, battered,

Though my pieces are scattered.

My joy no matter my lot,

For You, Lord, are my God!

Joy, fill my heart always,

Joy… my stay.

Joy, Christ, my all.

Joy Eternal.

So wonderful, so hopeful dear Melinda.
"Joy, fill my heart always,
Joy… my stay.
Joy, Christ, my all.
Joy Eternal."
I liked the above lines. I could feel the joy in the amazing words.

You have found your joy and it will be with you forever. How fortunate you are, how fortunate anyone who has found an answer and lives within its light.
