His Very LoveA Poem by Melinda McQueenHis Very Love
Carrying heavy loads Upon tired and aching backs, It’s seems grueling, No slack.
Eyes tired of weeping, Still, tears flow as rushing streams. No help in sight, Or so it seems.
You may not know Where you’re going or what you’re to do. This is when we fall to our knees, And pray to the God of truth.
A plan in place, He knew the cost was extremely high. But giving His all. His very love He did not hide.
He is all-- All we will forever need. His work on the cross Paved the way for you and me.
He graciously awaits, Ready and willing to come dwell-- Dwell in hearts in need Of love that never fails.
His consuming love Made the perfect sacrifice. Sending His only Son, His very love, Jesus Christ.
