ScatteredA Poem by Melinda McQueenScattered
In the silence, I remember days gone by. Times and places I’ve lived, Where I’ve grown inside.
The people Who have crossed paths with mine. Relationships made, Many have left my future timeline.
Scattered, All have scattered into their own worlds… Seeking their own adventures While I remember them as pearls.
In grey days, I pull one from a long-ago memory. I sometimes laugh, or smile When reliving a scene.
Then I wonder If anyone pulls a memory of me. Does it bring a smile? Do they recall how much they mean?
Scattered, All my love is scattered far and wide. For love I still feel, Tucked inside.
