Birthed in Bethlehem

Birthed in Bethlehem

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Birthed in Bethlehem

The night lit

With the star shining.

Showing the way

To the sighting.

A little baby lay

As a tiny lamb.

Sent to the world,

Birthed in Bethlehem.

A promise kept,

The glory foretold.

Love in human flesh,

There to behold.

O the sight,

In the blessed town.

Christ the Savior,

Birthed in Bethlehem.

Magnified is He

Who came to make way.

So that we can be with Him

Some glad day.

Filled with love,

He is the great “I AM”!

Lord of heaven and earth,

Birthed in Bethlehem.
