The Miracle in a Manger

The Miracle in a Manger

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

The Miracle in a Manger

In a manger He lay,

Small, yet ever bold.

Savior of the world,

There to behold.

An act of love

To deliver souls from danger.

A living, breathing soul,

The Miracle in a manger.

Swaddled tightly,

Looking through human eyes,

His earthly life just begun,

In His enduring might.

He came to fulfill

And to make known the Father’s love.

Sent to be the answer,

He was ever enough.

O how the angels

Must have sung

At Christ’s birth;

Victory to be won.

Jesus was His Name,

And to Jesus, sung the angels.

The destinated time come,

The Miracle in a manger.
