When She Believes

When She Believes

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

When She Believes

The sky opens
to new and joyful heights.

A new day
is on the rise.

She has awaken
to who she is meant to be.

A weight is lifted
and she clearly sees.

The sadness… it’s gone,
hurtful words… are beginning to diminish.

She sees the light
where once was only a wish.

Love born of hope

when finally, she sees her faith.

Fruition of her dreams,
as she lives her fate.

She didn’t give up,
but dared to reach beyond the pain.

Now she’s living
a life of gain.

She knows there’s greatness
just beyond what her eyes can see.

That still… there’s more
for her to come to be.

Such a creative introduction!

Your words are a bravely laid truth, plus, display the determination to live carefully and considerately for yourself as needed and those who love you and - still more.
