Heaven Awaits

Heaven Awaits

 

High up

Above the fluffy clouds.

Some place far away,

Is a love to be found.

 

It hides not,

Opened wide to you and me.

Gloriously furnished,

Heaven awaits the redeemed.

 

Sorrows upon sorrows

Stacked up, towering to the sky.

But they are no match

For what’s in store for you and I.

 

Fill our hearts

With love for the Father.

In Him, we have it all;

Heaven awaits; no need to wander.

 

Filled with grace,

We are never on our own.

For Christ was sent,

And now sits on His throne.

 

Everything to look forward to,

For we are children of the God we praise.

Hearts assured…

Heaven awaits.
