![]() Just Like RainA Poem by Melinda McQueenJust Like Rain
Drops falling like crystals, Bursting when reaching the earth. A cleansing takes place As newness births.
Love falls, Sometimes soft as feathers. Other instances, Falling strongest of pillars.
Rain down, Oh rain down upon little me. Love’s perfect work, Nourish brittle me.
Soon, the drops of rain Become a pouring, sweeping rush. A washing bath To a soul’s gentle hush.
Love reigning, A completeness of the soul. For love is the way Ever told.
Silently descending, Bold enough to be pleasantly felt. A trickle here, a trickle there, A kiss which melts.
Love holds, Even if all else is strained. It comes a flood Just like rain.
