Like Birds in a Nest

 

Sing the birds’ song

Of deep resounding gratitude.

A radiant life

Through and through.

 

How greatly the Master cares,

Fed generously by His living Word.

Making a way,

He sent Christ to bless the world.

 

The sacrifice of love

Gave a sure hope to all mankind.

The key to entering eternity

There to find.

 

As surely as He cares

For the birds in treetop nests,

He acquaints to our needs,

Seeking to bless.

 

In times of fear

When all hope seems lost,

Cry to the Father,

Jesus paid the cost,

 

The One worthy of praise,

Chooses to be involved in our lives.

Displaying grace,

We’re in His sight.

 

When broken and confused,

We cast our cares upon the Father…

And we are nourished

With the Living Water.

 

May our wings of faith

Raise us to the heights we were created for.

Like birds in a nest,

We rely on the Savior once more.

I enjoyed reading this and I applaud your faith as Christ is the only thing in which I am allowed to boast. I believe that Jesus Christ is God. He is Lord and who is the Lord but God? There is only One God. In Isaiah God says "My OWN arm brought salvation for Me." Isaiah 63:5 "The Lord is our God" 2nd Chronicles 13:10 "The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name." Zechariah 14:9 I proclaim that name above all names as Jesus Christ. "God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name." Philippians 2:9 It is the same as the prophet Isaiah prophesied," For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6 But we cannot cast pearls before swine or give what is holy to the dogs as Jesus said, "Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces." Matthew 7:6 Let the blind and the dead in spirit alone. "As for you, Jesus said, "Follow Me." John 21:22 This is what the LORD says: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, nor the strong man in his strength, nor the wealthy man in his riches. But let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD, who exercises loving devotion, justice and righteousness on the earth for I delight in these things,” declares the LORD." Jeremiah 9:24 I do not offer you random scriptures but these things are connected by faith and offer proof that Christ is God in the flesh. HE is the Word of God and "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14 But do not think that God the Father and God the Son are two separate entities. They are not for they are One. "For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God?" Psalm 18:31 That same "Rock of Ages" sang about in the Christian hymn is the same God He has always been and His name is Jesus Christ. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." Hebrews 13:8 May God richly bless you and keep you in love and faith by His saving power and grace. Amen

Yes, yes, Amen to that! It's refreshing to know that some here believes what I do. i recently got "a talking to" then he blocked me. I don't intend to offend anyone. But as you know, it comes with the the territory. We are persecuted just like Jesus. We should count it all joy for our reward is in heaven!

Those who will gladly receive it will be lifted up by it. But those who turn it away will be judged by it, not that we, ourselves, judge. We only impart what we are given through the Spirit but God is a righteous judge. I am bold in my faith but meek in my person as we are admonished to be wise as serpents but gentle as doves.
