Between Today and TomorrowA Poem by Melinda McQueenBetween Today and Tomorrow
To the moon, Over twinkling stars. Beyond silvery clouds, Is where You are.
Between today and tomorrow, On the outskirts of satin time. In the most inward parts, You are ev’ry rhyme.
A vapor in the wind Rides Your Presence. Here and There Knows You in the same tense.
You are in this minute And in forever in the same instance. You draw the chord on this, And unveil that in a new chance.
As You’re raising mountains, You’re also feeding the farrow. You touch a stream, And a river flows narrow.
You’ve spun the galaxies, And Your eyes are on the earth borrowed. Your completeness goes on and on… Between today and tomorrow.
