Up… Up… Up…

 

The water flows

Strong and forever true.

Its force is its current.

It ever moves.

 

Like birds flying high,

There’s a rhythm unto the soul.

Up… Up… Up…

It goes.

 

Seeds planted,

With water and soil…

Flowers to life,

Ever loyal.

 

Like the ocean’s tide,

Its waves keep pushing through,

So too, does the Spirit,

Always true.

 

Creation still rallies,

Love still saves, still holds.

Up… Up… Up…

Worth more than gold.

 

As water meets the shore,

Satisfied is the soul at the journey’s end.

Soul, be still,

And let your many colors blend.

 

Like a bird in the sky,

Enjoy the destined flight of life.

Up… Up… Up…

You are here to fly high.

Oh YES! I loved this for SO many reasons but most of all for the recognition that life is a classroom and everything we learn here is preparing us for "high" school...up, up, up. indeed! I read that Dr. Charles Stanley passed away today. A friend posted about it on social media but far from tears I was so happy to hear this. He graduated at the top of the class! I enjoyed the read! F.
