The King has Arrived

The King has Arrived

 

He’s on the way.

His love will have its say.

There He is!

The One cherished.

 

Riding a donkey’s colt,

Coming to make the Father’s will known.

He has entered Jerusalem’s land!

He’s come to take a stand!

 

Palms lay in His path,

He’s on his way without lack.

It’s now time!

Yes, branches laid out for the Vine!

 

Jesus is answering the call

To give His life for all.

There He is! Do you see Him?

The King has arrived in Jerusalem!

 

He will soon lay down His life,

Choosing to die for all mankind.

His great love will change circumstances

When the True Vine gives eternal life to His branches!
