In the River of Grace

In the river of grace

I do swim.

Dependent upon You with each wave.

 

The surge is strong,

And the on-going water shifts.

I am moved along.

 

In the river of grace

I find myself time and again.

Your mercy sustains.

 

Always moving,

Your provision never ends.

Your Presence, soothing.

 

In the river of grace

I know You have me.

You lead the way.

 

Flowing, flowing…

Is Your love and mercy.

Ever giving, ever going.

 

In the river of grace

I shall someday flow into the ocean deep.

Then, I shall see Your radiant face!
