A time anew

Has come around.

A new year of seeing,

A new year for happiness to abound.

 

Blessings are ready to be given

By He who waits patiently.

Joy to the utmost,

Ready to be poured graciously.

 

Hello, 2023,

You have found me here.

My hope is to live fully

And have God pleased to be near.

 

It’s renewal time,

A clean slate awaits.

What will I write?

What will I create?

 

Thank You, Lord, for…

A new year to spread Your love.

A new year to try my best.

A new year to send praise up.

 

A whole new year to be grateful,

And to see what will be.
