Broken, But HealedA Poem by Melinda McQueenBroken, But Healed
My brokenness laid out, Bare for You to see. Stained, battered, and bruised, Yet You see me.
Life has a tendency of getting in the way, Drama, pain, and sorrow. All cast shades of grey On tomorrow.
But still, You’re here, Willing to listen to my cries. Deserving of all glory, Let Your glory arise.
Far from perfect am I. Yet You look on me. Thanks to Jesus, Who has set me free.
Broken, but healed. Weak, but made strong. Once lost, now found. Condemned, now forgiven wrongs.
Thanks to Jesus, You no longer see my brokenness. The Son--Your Son--is all You see; This soul is eternally blessed.
