Too SmallA Poem by Melinda McQueenToo Small
How oft times I become set in my ways, Comfortable in my own bubble. I forget to share Your grace When the world is bogged down with trouble.
Help me to remember during life’s tests, That
You’re the reason I won't ultimately fall. Through me, I want You to reach, So may my reach not be too small.
Vessels in need of filling, Of the love from the Divine. A love ever willing To search and find.
Like the axe void of its blade, I beat at the air. But with Your grace, The cutting edge is there.
Sharpen my resources, Lord, As I use the gift You’ve given. May I never miss a chance to share Your Word, My faith in You, driven.
Just like Jabez’s prayer of old, Broaden my borders in the call Take the hungry hearts into Your fold, Filling vessels never too small.
