Unto Thy Word

 

Thy Word speaks

Unto my soul.

A radiant strength

Reaches unto the unknown.

 

Thy power great,

Accomplishing all things.  

Thy mercies never late,

I’m hidden ‘neath Thy wings.

 

Put my fears at ease,

As Thou banish my distress.

May I find myself in Thee,

As in Thee does my soul rest.

 

Grateful beyond words,

Yet Thy glorious heart hears mine.

As I lift my hands, Lord,

Thy grace I find.

 

The lifter of my head,

No matter the trials I face.

Thy words written in red

Speak Thy marvelous ways.

 

True and steadfast,

Wonderful Prince of peace.

Thy Word, a light unto my path

As I follow after Thee.
