King Over Me

 

I come to adore Thee,

Giving myself to worship with my life.

Laying my heart at Thy feet,

My cares when each they arrive.

 

Reign, Lord, in my heart

Until there’s less of me and more of Thee.

Drop by drop, have Thy part,

King over me.

 

Have Thy way,

Rule in this heart of mine.

I seek Thy glorious face,

My Savior, divine.

 

Delight in Thy servant,

Let this soul bless Thee.

Cradle me in the shelter of Thy hand,

King over me.

 

Fill me with Thy truth

As I meditate upon Thy Word.

Thy mercies are new

Each time I call upon Thee, Lord.

 

Take me into Thy inner courts

Where I commune with Thee.

Make me more like Thee, Lord…

King over me.
