The Dancing AngelsA Poem by Melinda McQueenThe Dancing Angels
A starry night Shone from above. With strong might. God sent His love.
The baby was His chosen delight, Which lay in a manger. Sweet in the Father’s sight. Praising were the dancing angels.
Lifting the name of Jesus, The angels worshipped Him in truth. He would soon put together all the pieces, Making hearts new.
Swirling in unison, Humbly, they bowed from every angle. Singing praises to the newborn Son, Were the dancing angels.
As time goes on, He’s coming back again. Never will be alone, And ugliness shall end.
Hallelujah, shall all shout, Thousands upon thousands of souls far from danger. All with one accord shall dance about Like the dancing angels
