Blessings come on silver wings,

Answers to the many prayers we pray.

Thanksgiving joy to bring.

 

Goodness to the world sings,

Making hearts light in every phase.

A bounty of love and hope clings

To all who know the power of today.

Thanksgiving joy to bring.

 

Coming through all things

To everyone, each and every way,

Blessings come on silver wings.

 

More than the turkey and dressing,

A time to reflect on the blessings we partake.

Thanksgiving joy to bring.

 

Hearts bowing humbly in being

With the family on this gathering day.

Happy Thanksgiving Melinda. Yes, the joy of family is certainly one to be thankful for. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving on this side of the pond, but I am with you all the way. There is much to be thankful for and the best of it isn't in material wealth.
