The Living Word

The Living Word

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

The Living Word

Washed clean by the blood,

Refreshed and renewed

Unto the Savior’s truth.

The devil’s work undone.

Victory sings its triumph song.

Jesus has taken our shame

And forever are we changed

For He has righted our wrong.

Forgiven in God’s eyes,

For He no longer sees our sin,

But rather, His son’s sacrifice.

Made anew unto the Lord

To the glory of Christ

By the Living Word.

Thanks for reading..
I'm all for the devil's work being undone. Now that would be a victory. We seem to be living in very challenging times. I'"m not at all religious, but consider myself a spiritual being. Nicely penned Melinda.
