A Warm and Cozy LoveA Poem by Melinda McQueenA Warm and Cozy Love
Looking out the window Next to my writing space, I’m watching the leaves dance Gently in place.
A chill hangs in the air, Trees still holding on to brown leaves Though most cover the now cool ground. Rain visited last night while we were asleep.
Awoken to drizzles which persist, Glad to have nowhere to be... Except here with the soothing Hum of the heater behind me.
If I’m not careful, My eyelids just may flutter close. I’m so relaxed, I may not finish this pose.
My husband is here in his favorite chair Dedicated to his tablet and whatever’s on it. Peacefully living life together, Warm and cozy, it can’t be any better than this.
Rainy days have always made me sleepy, But combined with the outside cold… Well, don’t be surprised If I trail… off…
